December 11, 2018 At the Regular Board meeting the Mills Township Board interviewed four applicants for the Clerks position. The applicants answered questions from the Board members and questions that were submitted by the community. The Township Board made a decision to fill the clerk position with Kim Sweet. Kim will work with the Board and provide the transparency needed to do what is best for Mills Township and its residence. Kim will also run on Ballot in 2020, Supervisor Bloom ask the other applicants and any other people that were interested in running to do so as well.
Update on the on going Investigation: The investigation is complete and has been turned in to the Prosecuting Attorney office.
From Fire Chief Tim Metzger: If anyone in Township that needs any kind of help like starting your Generator, checking your smoke detectors or Lift assist, Please call 911, tell them not an emergency and have them contact the Mills Township Fire Barn, and they will come out to help.
