Mills Township was established on July 23, 1894. Mills Township is located in the Northeast corner of Midland County, approximately seven miles north of the City of Midland. The Township is a rural community with a population of less than 4,000.

The Mills Township board set the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. 3480 E. Shearer Rd, Midland, Michigan 48642, their monthly meeting.

Township Residents – The Sanford Ball Organization will be using the Mills Township park in 2023 because their fields were destroyed in the Flood of 2020. They will be given priority for the use of the diamonds this year. Thank you for your support and understanding.
